Fire Emblem Gift Guide

Fire Emblem Gift Guide Blog Picture

When Fire Emblem Engage released at the beginning of last year, a whole new wave of FE fans was created. Engage didn’t make as big of a splash in the gaming community as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but it still got praise for being a beautiful, enjoyable game. Whether you’re a fan of the newer FE games, the older games, or you’re buying for a fan, stay tuned. I’m going to go over some of the best Fire Emblem gifts that encompass lots of games throughout the series.

Best Fire Emblem Merch

Now I’ll talk about some of the best Fire Emblem gifts and what makes each one stand out. FE merch isn’t as common as merch for other Nintendo series, but some of what is available is golden. Fire Emblem can be a tricky series to navigate, so I’ve added some info about which characters are from which games where it’s needed.

These replica rings are some of the best Fire Emblem gifts I’ve seen, because they appeal to new and veteran fans. Emblem Rings were a part of Fire Emblem’s latest game, Engage, but the rings hold the power and physical form of the past heroes from all of the previous FE games. If you know someone’s favorite FE game or character, then a replica ring would be a fun gift. Bonus points: the price isn’t bad.

We do have to be realistic about these rings. They’re made of copper with a metal alloy coating-they aren’t solid silver. They aren’t great for everyday use, but they’d be perfect for cosplay and special events. Here are all of the Emblem Rings you can choose from (I put the game title the characters are from in parenthesis):

  • Micaiah (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn)
  • Eirika (Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones)
  • Leif (Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 and Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War)
  • Lucina (Fire Emblem Awakening)
  • Roy (Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade)
  • Chrom + Robin (Fire Emblem Awakening)
  • Celica (Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia)
  • Lyn (Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade)
  • Corrin (Fire Emblem Fates)
  • Hector (Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade)
  • Sigurd (Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War)
  • Marth (Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light)
  • Soren (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
  • Ike (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
  • Byleth (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
  • Pact Ring (Fire Emblem Engage)
  • Ring of the Connector (Fire Emblem Engage)

It’s the protagonist of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade in plushie form. I’d never thought I’d see Roy look so… adorable. Little Buddies is a popular plushie line, so I trust the quality of their toys. I can tell a lot of thought went into the design of Roy’s armor. It’s the cutsie-fied version of the armor he wears in game. In case you’re an Ike fan, Little Buddies makes a plush of him, too!

Veteran FE fans who played Path of Radiance would love this Fire Emblem diorama. Ike is such an iconic character in the series, and it’s awesome to see him going up against Zelgius, or the Black Knight. Fans of the older games will appreciate the nostalgic 16-bit pixel art, too. It reminds us of simpler GameCube days. If Path of Radiance isn’t the mood, you can pick from 18 other Fire Emblem designs.

Was any event in Fire Emblem: Three Houses more stressful than trying to get a perfect teatime score? Even so, many of us loved the teatime minigame, and what better way to relive it than with a Perfect Teatime mug? The design shows exactly what flashes across your screen when you’ve chatted with another character perfectly. Even the golden gleam is spot-on with what you saw in the game.

In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you and all of the House Leaders wield Relic Weapons. These necklaces, pins, and keychains are handmade replicas of those weapons. If you’re unfamiliar with who wields what, here is a quick rundown so you know which character’s weapon you’re buying:

  • Sword – Byleth – Protagonist
  • Bow – Claude – Golden Deer House
  • Spear – Dimitri – Blue Lions House
  • Axe – Edelgard – Black Eagles House

You can have any of these four weapons as a necklace, pin, or keychain. Whichever style you choose, they’re all the same price. Three Houses is the second latest game, so this would be great for newer fans.

Who’s that Fire Emblem plushie? It’s Claude! He’s the leader of the Golden Deer House in Fire Emblem: Three Houses! I love that this chibi plush looks incredibly soft. It’s 10.4” tall, which may explain the higher price tag. If Claude and the Golden Deer weren’t your jam, Sanei Boeki (another quality toy brand) has a plushie for Edelgard of the Black Eagles House, too. It sucks if the Blue Lions were your favorite. They don’t have Dimitri…

This Fire Emblem Awakening wooden artwork does one of my favorite games justice. Heroes like Chrom, Lucina, Vaike, Frederick, Sumia, and more are expertly carved from wood to make this piece. The character poses are from the Awakening promotional artwork and game cover.

If you’re buying for someone who loves Awakening, I couldn’t think of a more perfect Fire Emblem gift. You won’t have to worry about remembering anyone’s favorite characters, because all the popular ones are featured. The artist makes several 3D wooden art pieces themed around FE, so I encourage you to check them out.

Is Fire Emblem Engage Good?

I would say yes, and that Fire Emblem Engage was loads of fun to play. Engage wasn’t received quite as well as Three Houses, but most fans generally still like it. It didn’t make waves like Three Houses did, but Engage is still a solid entry in the series.

Does Fire Emblem Engage Have Romance?

Yes, Fire Emblem Engage does have romance. Your MC has a pact ring that they can choose to give to one character in the game. This will move that character’s relationship with your MC from A to S, which solidifies that you’re together.

Is Fire Emblem Engage a Mainline Game?

Yes, Engage is a mainline game in the Fire Emblem series. In fact, Engage strives to tie all the previous FE games together in one entry through the Emblem Rings.
